Series of photographs of oil paintings of painter-architect Nicolas Depetris.
From paint tubes, the colors are chosen and mixed through the eyes and memory of the painter. Lines and volumes, light and shadow appear. At the moment the paintings are finished, they are photographed. The colors, the brightness and the shape of these images are retouched on a computer to approach real paintings. These images no longer have the scale, thickness and experience and they travel in another world as a photograph, a new independent image.
Nicolas Depetris works a series of paintings about the "relationship between Human and Nature" and focuses on treating Architecture as a track left by Human. Kiyohara thinks that the paintings and the photographs of these paintings are also tracks, which will disappear someday like architecture floating in the landscape.
Architecture, Painting, Photography —even though we know that they have an end as well as ourselves, we keep creating while thinking of eternity.
